Saying good-bye means great food!

So, we're leaving... all to soon. But before we pulled out we got to spend some great time, with great people and eat great food. These are people we are going to dearly miss. Great friends, neighbors, people who we work with, they've been like family and we are so thankful to have known them.... and will continue to know them ;-)

Umm, well, here is an idea of our evening... entertaining...
We ate it all! Yum!

Iddy Biddy Soccer

Well, we've now officially played our first sport at the Heimer household, Iddy Biddy Soccer! It was an absolute blast for Peanut! It was an easy 4-weekend commitment for 60 minutes on Saturday.

I would have to say that we're hoping for academic scholarships instead of sports after observing our sweet, 3-year-old "play"... but she could end up having a little fire in her belly later on in life!

For now she enjoyed the juice box break, hershey kisses, saying "Hi" to other kids and hanging out {or should I say, finding} her friend Hannah! It was so fun, we're so proud of her!

Oh, and the trophy too!

And success is...

For a mother of three, success: when they're all sleeping at the same time.

We've transitioned Big Guy into Peanuts room, as a preparation for our big move {they will share a room}, so during nap time {which for Peanut is rare}, she sleeps on her napmat {used for school}. For Big Guy, he's on a mattress in her room, and loves his new found freedom. He is our obedient, tender-hearted child {not that our other two are not}, but if you look at him and frown, after he's gotten out of bed, he'll cry and get back in bed saying, "sorry, mommy." Funny kid.

And the youngest of the trio seems to nap all the time. She is currently running a eat-wake-sleep routine every 2.5 hours, so I won't complain! Good little baby girl! A sweet addition to our household!

And you might ask... what does mom do when they nap.... absolutely NOTHING;-)

We don't ALWAYS play in the mud...

So I noticed a re-occurring theme for our outdoor play and it seems to be MUD. Now I'm not sure if this is a lack of things to do in the front yard {they do have a huge swing set, riding toys, shovels, etc} or if its just my laziness as a mother to redirect their play and to stay out of the mud, when really, it occupies them for hours... not joking, literally hours! So I let them play. I figure its only a matter of weeks before we move into a neighborhood where there will be less mud and lets be honest, it makes us look a little redneck when their tromping around with plastic cups, dirty faces and muddy hands! But for now we play in the mud!

Because the weather is warming up, we've been swimming in our pool now, and it really tends to be muddy water at the end the the day, so its not unlike the puddle Big Guy is squatting in above... it just makes me feel better as a mom that it all started out clear ;-)

Not a lot to do but nap!

Party of Five

Well, it has been a while... or almost a month now since I've blogged. Time has gotten away from me. From the end of my pregnancy {being preggo w/ one and chasing two is much harder than just having three}, till adding our newest, just two weeks ago, its about time for the Heimer- Party of Five- to show off some pics of our little Tenley Ranae!

So loved by her big sister {3 1/2 yrs old} and big brother {23 months}

And then there is mommy, very happy that you're here!

Nana Dee came to help with the big kids and it was so fun to have her here!

Granddad came to visit while Nana was staying with us!

And now you get to be poked in person!

Here is a comparison of all the kids all about three days old!

A run to KC...

Recently, Justin went to Indiana {to lock down housing and attend Law School weekend}, so the kids and I headed to Kansas City. We had a lot of fun visiting Fritzes Train restaurant, the Johnson County Children's Museum, and the Olathe Mall... which is really a conglomerate of stores, that include a local fire station display, aquarium and train depot!

It was actually so busy... so many trains delivering food that it was hard for the kids to focus on eating;-)

All four little heads poking out of the engine!

So many trains, not covered... so easy to touch, it was hard to have self-control.

Boy cousins playing on the riding toys!

Sweet girl cousins, soon to add another!

Nana and Granddad flew in from Malibu for the weekend!
Nana celebrated her 57th Birthday!

Nana's birthday is the day that Justin and I first met, its a great yearly reminder of when things first began!
